Hi, I'm Will a Karting Australia Go Kart Driver with big dreams of a career in professional motorsport.

Many have this dream, but I have a plan. This blog is about my journey and sharing information to others who want to know more about karting.

Will Carmichael KA3 Junior Light at Ipswich Kart Club.

This year I have joined the Jess Golding Motorsport team. I raced last year in my Birel Art S15. 2024 will see me in an Arrow X6.2.

Commitment

2024 will be my second season in karting. Last year mum and I travelled all over to get me to events. This year looks the same. Karting is my passion. Being successful takes more than driving talent. It takes dedication, resilience and perseverance. Having learning difficulties has really prepared me with that extra edge. I have always had to work harder than everyone else at school to get my grades. You will always see me at the track training, at home watching race footage to find ways to improve or working on my kart to ensure it is the best it can be.
